Rivendell Players

An introduction to the dramatic arts fosters imagination and creativity, exercises presentation skills, and encourages research, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Rivendell students have the opportunity to be involved in theater through theater tech, dance, chorus and voice lessons. Recent productions include Oh Brother, where Art Thou?, Grease, The Sound of Music, Oklahoma!, and The Addams Family.

"I do theater because it helps me make friends with people outside of my grade. And also because I like theater, I like musicals. It's fun! I think we put aside our own differences and because we know we have a goal we have to get done, we just get going. We have a lot of creative freedom, so we get to put all of our minds together and work on it and it gets done."

"I do theater – or, I’m usually a techie – because I like building places that you can only think about, like building sets that you just think of, and you can make come true. Just by imagining it you can do it."
